Liberia National Lotteries CEO: Mr. Martin S. Kollie Leaves for Bamako, Mali to Attend the African Lottery Executive Committee Meeting



Monrovia, November 20, 2013:  The Managing Director of the Liberia National Lotteries Corporation, Mr. Martin S. Kollie departs the country to attend this year’s Executive Committee Meeting of the African Lottery Association (ALA) scheduled to be held from November 21st -23rd , 2013 in Bamako, the Republic of Mali.

According to press release of the Liberia National Lotteries, Director Kollie will hold meetings with the Minister of Finance on Thursday, November 21st, Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) of France, and the African 2014 Horse Racing Price. While on Friday November 22nd , an Executive Committee of the African Lottery Association will be held. Also the Chief Executive Officer of the Liberia National Lotteries will attend a meeting for the preparation of the African Lottery Association (ALA) 2014 Congress in Dakar, Senegal and the African Lottery Association (ALA) 2014 activity program.

The participation of Director Kollie at the Regional Lottery Association will help strengthen bilateral ties, core-existence and new trends for lottery developments, as a means of transforming the lotteries industry of Liberia, as well as to ensure that Liberia National Lotteries is in line with best International Lottery practices.

The African Lottery Association was established in 1981 in order to meet regularly as a means of providing training, and to exchange information and experience. There are currently about twenty-five countries that hold membership, with fifteen of these participating on a regular basis including Liberia.
